Classes & Workshops

As an educator,  Mariah combines  theory,  embodied experiences, and  a strengths-based perspective.  Her  teaching  style  attunes  to the needs  of her  students through a fusion of dance/movement therapy principles, a developmental outlook, and a highly experiential approach. Mariah is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Counseling at George Fox University. Prior to her time at GFU, she taught at both the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Multnomah University. In April 2022, Mariah completed her CACREP accredited PhD in Leadership with a Specialization in Counselor Education & Supervision. Her mixed-method dissertation research centered on dance/movement therapy supervision. Mariah is available for workshops and trainings by request; contact her to inquire about programming specifically catered to your workplace, school, or community setting.
